my mum's been making these meatballs for a couple of years now, and they are very yummy. last time that i made them i found that the curry paste used really affected the flavour. the best type of paste to use seems to be the very authentic and hot plastic tub variety from asian food stores.
* 500g beef mince
* 2 finely chopped onions
* 1 egg
* 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
* 3T chopped coriander (roots and all)
* 1t sugar
* 1/2t pepper
* 1/2t salt
* 1T red curry paste
* 1 fresh red chilli, finely chopped
schmoosh this all together in a bowl with your hands (or a spoon if you're squeamish)
roll into patties
barbecue, fry or grill - whatever you wish
eat up.
