the sound of music

there's no doubt about it, the sound of music could possibly be my favourite, and is definitely my most watched film. which means that if i enter austria, i'm going to go to salzburg, and i'm going to see the sound of music sights.

but i think i'll be doing the budget d.i.y. student version if i go in 2002. one of the organised tours is $USD29.

and you know. i'll sing while i'm there. in public. because i really do wish life was like a musical.

spain to turkey???

within 12 hours of booking my trip i'm already beginning to worry.

how am i going to get from spain to turkey?

by bus, train and ferry? or do i fly from spain to another european city and then out to turkey?

thankfully there is the lonely planet thorntree...

it's not very long until i go! i think that i'll probably go after the 19th of august... my passports are getting organised..

i have to...
get a new isic card (and a new unisa student card)
"lose" my keycard so i can get a europe friendly pin number
buy a backpack
buy a ticket
