new zealand

i've always thought of new zealand as just the country next door to australia. i've seen the piano, read green dolphin country by elizabeth goudge, but i'd never really thought that going there would be fun.

but tonight i saw my first episode of pilot guides on abc. and it was an episode on new zealand.

heading off to new zealand would be kinda silly as i'm going in the opposite direction this big trip, but maybe in a year or so?

a $700 return flight from adelaide, $50 a day?

just try and stop me.

iceland [jinx!]

i've worked out a way to potentially get to iceland next semester. but i don't want to post about it in case i jinx myself.

it will involve manual labour. but it will also mean i'll be in iceland.

cross your fingers and then hopefully i can write some more!
