About Me

In the last year I’ve officially lived in Adelaide, Australia; Helsinki, Finland and Sheffield, UK. As of November, 2008 I’ve just moved to Berlin, Germany.  Oh, this year I also travelled in Hong Kong, China and Vietnam.  Needless to say I am now exhausted of both funds, mind and body.

I’ve been keeping a blog since October 2000.

When I grow up I’d like to have a garden, a baby and sing in a choir. I’m not sure when I’ll officially be grown up but I’ve already done the gardening and choir thing and would like to do them again as babies seem like an awful lot of work. So are gardens, but they don’t wake you up in the middle of the night.

I drink an awful lot of tea. In between cups of tea and bathroom breaks I’ve worked as a games programmer and as a web developer (both freelance and for e-learning service providers).  I’ve also honed my interpersonal skills whilst bartending and working in my favourite shop.

I love meeting people and hearing their stories. I’m fascinated by the edges of friendship - how do we make and break friendships? How does distance and technology influence the ways in which we interact?

I’m currently looking for work based in Berlin, Germany.  You can check out my CV.

I’m also looking forward to making new friends in Berlin - feel free to get in touch.
