I just heard about the series of Oblique Strategies cards by Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt, which prompt users to approach their creative problems in a different way. Luckily there’s a dashboard widget for MacOSX.

Connectivity is up, marriage is down, the population is aging. And talking about your bathroom renovations obsessively is bad form and a sign that you avoid looking at the bigger picture.

I’ve got corn, bean and squash seedlings already - now to wait for slightly warmer weather. I have a horrible feeling that come zucchini time I’m going to be overwhelmed with yellow squash and zucchinis!
